Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
The Pedia SGH mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App") is designed exclusively for licensed pediatricians, qualified healthcare professionals, and medical students.
We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy document details our practices regarding user and patient data collection, storage, retention, and deletion.
We value your privacy. Pedia SGH does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you or your patients.
1. Data Collection & Usage
Pedia SGH operates as a standalone utility calculation and medical reference application, which also optionally hosts a community discussion platform:
- No Patient Data Collection: We do not ask for, collect, transmit, or store any patient personal health information (PHI) or identifying details on any external server.
- Local Calculation Processing: Any clinical metrics or inputs entered into the calculators (such as patient weight, age, creatinine clearance, active ingredients, or drug dose params) are processed on-device in real-time. They are never transmitted or synced online.
- User-Submitted Discussion Content (Discussion Page): If you choose to use the Discussion Page, you can voluntarily submit content including text posts and image uploads. This user-generated content is transmitted and stored securely on our servers to render the community discussion feed for other users.
- No User Tracking: We do not track users outside the scope of displaying discussion platform feeds, nor do we sell your data to advertising networks.
2. Data Retention Policy
Calculation Data: We do not store or retain user calculation inputs or patient personal data on any server. These exist strictly offline on your local device.
Discussion Forum Data: Any post content, text, or images that you voluntarily upload to our community discussion space are stored securely on our servers for as long as the community board is active or until you request deletion of your data.
Any offline preference settings (such as your chosen UI theme or "Agree to medical disclaimer" confirmations) are stored locally on your device within secure, sandboxed application storage and remain there only for your convenience.
3. Data Deletion Process
For local application data (such as calculations history, bookmarks, or settings), you can manage and delete everything on your device at any time:
- Clear App Storage: You can completely and immediately clear the App's storage and cache at any time via your device's operating system settings (go to Settings > Apps > Pedia SGH > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data).
- Uninstall the App: Uninstalling Pedia SGH will permanently delete all locally stored configurations, preferences, and sandboxed data from your device.
Requesting Deletion of Discussion & User Server Data: If you have uploaded text or image posts to the Discussion page and wish to have them permanently deleted from our servers, you can initiate a deletion request:
- In-App Request: Use the "Request Data Deletion" button located on the Privacy Policy screen within the App to instantly draft a deletion request.
- Email Request: Send an email directly to contact@doctorsoftapp.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and provide details about the posts or username you wish to have removed. Upon verification, we will permanently delete the requested content from our database and servers within 72 hours.
4. Security
Since all inputs and calculation metrics remain strictly local, the security of this local information is dependent on the security of the user's mobile device. We advise healthcare professionals to secure their devices using standard password protections, biometric locks, and security protocols to safeguard any active clinical activities on-screen.
